I just purchased a lovely Persian lamb coat from a seller on eBay. It came in the mail a day ago and it is beautiful. This is the real thing, no fake fur at all! The curls on this coat come in a random pattern and are very, very soft, like human hair. My coat is also heavy, as you stated in the article. My coat does not have a mink collar, but is all black Persian lamb fur throughout. It is made in a pea coat style and looks nice on me since I am short. I also rubbed my hands between the curls and I could see a bit of the hide. The previous owner may have had the coat relined. The lining looks almost new. I cannot wait to wear it in March or April. It is a bit too cold to wear this coat now, since I live in Ohio and we have had subzero temps and lower for the last few days. I prefer to wear my down filled parka when it gets real cold.
